“[Goodman is] a definite unique musical voice”. – Guitar International

“[Campbell is] a gifted guitarist and composer”  The Whole Note

Travel. New places. Exploration. Sometimes we travel for leisure, other times out of necessity, or perhaps to settle permanently. Whatever the reason, when we leave the familiar comforts of the place we had called “home” behind, we open ourselves up to new possibilities. Looking back, our travels often mark important points and transitions in our lives. In this intimate concert, we’ll use music to explore ways that physical journeys can become intertwined with the spiritual journey of self-discovery.

Two of Canada’s finest guitarists, Alex Goodman and Graham Campbell, are joined by the prolific Ton Beau String Quartet. Award-winning Goodman premieres a suite that chronicles his his relocation from Toronto to New York, while Campbell treats us to his Brazilian-tinged arrangements evocative of less-trodden cobblestone paths for wandering souls.
